This program has certainly save me a TON of time cleaning my haphazard collection of MP3 files.

Now that I'm near of my goal of fixing all filenames the question is; can it rename the artist and song name on the MP3 meta data based on the filename?

Sorry but PFrank can only change the id3 comment field (which can be used to store the original name of the file).

What I've done in the past is use PFrank to fix the names and then use a tool called 'Media Tagger' to transfer the different fields of the filename to the mp3 tags. A google search shows that Mp3tag looks like a pretty good tool too.
