A few suggestions. Kindly consider them:

1. When right-clicking on a file, or any number of selected files, let there be a ready PFrank item on the right-click menu. (The current setting seems to apply only for folders.) This way, the direct launching of PFrank to rename files will be quicker.

2. Further, I'd love to have cascading sub-menu items with both pre- and user-configurable commands. I have observed that having these right-click menus usually speed up things, without having to open the main PFrank window. Moreover, on events of mishaps (inability to easily open the wanted app. etc) it usually is still possible to deal with files from the right-click menu. Having something like 30 of the most-used functions as right-click items could really be good (what I want is not just 30--but unlimited!).

3. Somewhere in the top portion where we have the 'Current Folder' and 'Browse' buttons, I'd love to see a button or two more, such as 'Previous Folder' & 'Next Folder' so as to facilitate easier navigation. Or, maybe an Explorer tree display.

4. Maybe a drag-drop support for both files and folders for quicker loading?

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll comment on all of them

for #4)
I like this one the most since it's already implemented. You can always drag and drop files/folders into the preview window.
e.g. - when you first start PFrank you can navigate to the preview window using the View menu option (or Alt-d). It will be blank but you can still drag file/folders into it. The renaming specified in the custom list will be applied. If the resulting new name is determined to be the same as the old name for any file, then that file will not appear in the list (If you want to see all files whether they will have a new name or not, then you have to enable the 'Show Unchanged Files" feature in the Option Window under 'General Display').

For #1)
I'll look into it.

For #2)
It's a good idea but I'm not sure how practical it is. It would be alot of effort to set this up when I think it's just as easy to start PFrank first and then set everything up. The predefined regex's are intended to be templates that people modify in the custom list. Many times you want to combine the predefined regex's with the renaming commands or with your own regex's; this would not be possible to set up with a right click on a set of files.

For #3)
I'd thought about doing this before but the problem is that any folder that appears in the text field will be saved to the drop-down list. THis list is supposed to be a list of favourite folders and not a list recording the folders you traverse as you close in on the folder you really want. Maybe the browse button can be removed and an explorer window added to the main window but I think it would be awkward to fit it in.

I don't know anything about window classes or types, but I can readily testify that the explorer tree found in MediaMonkey is definitely light and swifter than the one I use with my foobar2000 (plugin). So, I'd suggest that the previous (or better) type be used in PFrank.
