HI,

Is it possible to delete the complete name of a file but the two first characters and the last one, or the first and last one.

Copy the following into the custom renaming creator (do not copy the single quotes):

Row: 1
Search:
Replace: '*Delete All Characters in*Position*2:-3*'

The above will specify that everything between the first character and the last 2 characters will be deleted. Use 2:-2 to leave the first and last characters.

Press scan and check the preview window.
