It occurs to me that this might be of use to fellow renamers.
To create duplicate files of 0 byte size I use a small DOS-based program called xxcopy (www.xxcopy.com). Using the /tr (truncate) switch makes it possible to truncate files at 0 (zero) while retaining other attributes. I think this is a good way to generate files one may practice on. |
