SPC003 - 01 - Hill,Faith - Breathe.mp3
Hi,
For the above file, how do remove the "SPC003 - 01 - ' AND make 'Hill,Faith' = 'Faith Hill'?
Thanks,

There are lots of ways to do this depending on your criteria. ie. do you always want to remove the first 2 words, or remove the first 2 words if the second one is a number, or remove the first 2 words if the first one starts with SPC, or remove everything before the word 'Hill",
Need more information about the overall strategy.

In this case, I always want to remove the 'SPC - 01 - ' if it starts with SPC, since there are other files in the folder. |

Ok, maybe this will be better...remove everything before the word 'Hill" |

I really don't think you want to limit the changes to names with the word Hill.
Try this in the renaming creator (don't copy the single quotes):
Row: 1
Search: '(?E)^SPC.*?\-.*[0-9]+.*?\-(.*)'
Replace: '\1'
Row: 2
Search: '(.*?),(.*?)\-(.*)'
Replace: '\2 \1 - \3'
Press scan and check the preview window.
Make a backup of your files before renaming.
