Thanks for the new 'Close' button. But its hovering info shares the same words with the 'Undo' button!

Also, could you please make the button attract the mouse pointer immediately to itself (defaulted)? Also--if you'd allow me--place this 'Close' button above the 'Rename' button. Graphically:

Close
Rename Undo

My reason being that (given that the Close button is the default, and that the pointer is focused on it) it will be dead easy to click 'Close' to close, or just pull slightly downwards to rename. (For this reason, place the buttons close by.) As we know, pulling downward is easier than pushing upward, generally. Also, rightward pulling is still easier than leftward (for most right-handers).

The 'Custom Renaming' field.... Thanks for the new function. Now selected lines can be cleared with the Delete button. But an undesirable hitch has come up....
The Delete button can't delete the selected texts anymore! Please try to resolve this.

PFrank is, no doubt, evolving! Keep it up!

Thanks very much for pointing out the problem with the 'Close' button help text and the 'Delete' key! They've been fixed for 1.97

The 'Close' button already should have the mouse focus when you bring up the preview window. I'm not sure why you are not seeing it. What O/S are you using?

Sorry but I think the position of the close button should stay where it is; i.e. close to the bottom right corner. Just my preference; seems to look more natural.
I would recommend using the shortcut keys if you want to select functions without too much effort. You can use Ctl-R for renaming, Ctl-U for undo, and Ctl-Q to close the window. You can also use TAB and Shift-TAB to navigate the focus backwards and forwards.

It surprises me too!
I use Windows XP Pro SP2 with the "Automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box" option checked.
