Hi Peter, I haven't been around the forum much but I'm still using Pfrank constantly 
Do you have any plans for a linux version of it?
Since it's written in Python it shouldn't be too complicated to port (or is it?  ) |

Conceptually it shouldn't be too hard to convert to linux. Parts of the code use the python win32 package so some of the work would be in replacing/adapting/removing those sections. Other work would be required to adapt some of the GUI features that are for Windows-only. The pysvn library would have to be rebuilt (or omitted), the final executable would have to be built and packaged differently, and there would have to be alot of testing. Plus there's probablya a few other twists that I haven't thought of yet.
Alas - it comes down to time which I don't have much of these days especially with 3 kids growing up fast! Therefore there are no plans for a linux version.  |
