One other question...
How can I dictate that I would like capital A's on first characters and words that start with A in titles, while leaving all other single a's in the middle of titles left lower case?
Same for "The" I guess. Titles that begin with "The" should be capitalized but "the" that appears in the middle should remain lower case. However, "the" that comes after a - should be capital too... arghhh. |

Hi,
You can use the pre-defined command called 'Title Case (Also Deletes Extra Whitespace)''. THis will capitalize the first character of every word. If you want to make exceptions for some words, then you can use the Options Window to configure the 'Force Case' lists which will force specific words to always have the same case; e.g. in, a, the, ACDC, ...
The title case command would affect more than the letter A though.
If you just want to modify the letter A then you would need a plugin (see http://www3.telus.net/pfrank/PFrankUserCommand.html); if that is the case then let me know and i'll whip one up for you.
Hope that helps,
Peter. |
