ok, second time to write this. Perhaps a bit more frustrated this time in that I just got logged out of the bulletin board randomly before I could post.
Anyway, I've spent the entire morning trying to do a simple replacement of Copy (2) to _75001_ and then
Copy (3) to _75004_ etc.
The '(' will not parse as part of the string to replace even if you put it in single or double quotes? Am I missing something?
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort in all the features PFrank offers, like many probably, I'm in a terrible hurry to get a job out, but look back at the time spent trying to do something that seems like a basic request for users to rename multiple copies of the same files as Windows Explorer users, and grimice. Ugh. LOL.
I hope someone sees this soon and responds. I am off to see if there is another way to do this. |

You need to enclose the parentheses in square brackets. e.g. [(] and [)]
or you can precede them with a backslash. e.g. \( or \)
