WOW... so many functions... and I cannot figure out how to implement the one I want... Embarassed

I want to batch add the Album Artists name in the file Properties slot in most of my mp3 files. Is there an idiots guide out there somewhere as to how that is done? I've made various attempts but only succeeded in creating a batch file that renames the files (to lower case). Big sigh, it seems to be above my pay grade... sorry to be such a neophyte pain in the u-know-what

Hi,

Enter the following into the custom renaming creator (do not insert he singel quotes':

Row: 1
Search:
Replace: '*Insert Music Information before*Prefix*'

When you press scan, the previewer will show new names that have meta data inserted from the music files. The meta data inserted is selectable beforehand using the Options window -> go to the Insert Music Information panel and in your case select the iformat code for 'album'.
