|
|
I am trying to rename .mp3 and .m4a music files with the meta-data "Title". I have been able to do this with many of my music files but some of them give me the following "Problem", "(Warning - Duplicate.AutoFIXED.0001.011#) Path + New Filename = Other Path + New Filename".
where # increases as the number of files increase.
Is there anyway to correct this problem, that will allow me to rename these files with the meta-data "Title"? |

The warning is trying to tell you that if the renaming is attempted it will fail. The reason it will fail is that the resulting new name will be the same as some other new name that will be created by the renaming.
The summary screen on the main window will give you more details as to what names will conflict.
You can delete the rows with these warnings from the preview window and go ahead with renaming the other files.
For the files with conflicts you will have to decide whether to rename the ones that will become duplicates or you can manually edit the names on the preview page.
