Hey,
I have an issue when trying to take out this extra text added onto the end of the Artist and Album tags within the MP3 files. Basically I have about 2,500 songs that have the text "(PREVIEW: www.domain.com)" added on the end of both the Artist and Album tags and I want to remove it. Can you tell me what I need to do in order to get this to work? I have been playing around with the program for a while and can't seem to get it to do that. Please help!
Thanks,

Technically this isn't a file renaming request.
However, with the user-defined command feature you can do anything so yes, this is possible with PFrank.
It's actually fairly simple as I was able to whip up a command class in less than a half hour (if I thought it would take longer I would have asked for a mandatory donation ).
As with any non-renaming application, there are drawbacks. One is that you won't be able to preview the changes on the preview window and the other is that there is no undo (it is possible to add this)
To make up for the lack of a preview, I've set up the class to just print what changes would take place. The print results will show up in the PFrank.log file so can check things over from there. If you like the proposed changes, just uncomment the setArtist statement, reload the commands, and things should work.
If you are still interested, then email me privately and I'll send you the PFrankUser.py file.
