Hello
I am constantly renaming and reorganizing files and folders regularly.
Currently I am working on a large set of files,(same formats), that I need to just re-organize by numbering them so they are in the proper order.
I do not want to change the names, just number them, not alphabetically, I have created a text list in the proper order.
How do I use PFrank to do this??
Thanks

You can import a list of oldname-newname pairs if you convert your list to the correct format (separate oldname from newname with a comma and put the pairs on separate lines - more details are in the built-in help)
You can also insert numbers before or after any filenames - First you set up the custom renamer to insert numbers into filenames, then press scan which brings up the preview list. then you reorder the files the way you want and then rescan so that the numbers are inserted in the order you want. after that you can rename the files.
