|
|
Situation:
I like to change the date format (using the dateformater plugin) only for files, which has NOT the european date format.
Example files:
abc 01.08.11 abc.pdf
abc 01-08-11 def.pdf
abc 25-10-2011 xyz.pdf
Selection by name filter:
only the files, which does NOT meet the format xx.xx.xx should be selected.
My test:
The positive selection by this statement works
(?E)(.*)(\d{2}\.\d{2}\.\d{2}).*
But i was not able to use a negative statement with help of "^"
What is your proposal ?
Thanks, stefan |

I think the problem is the (?E) which is one of the regular expression extensions I added. THe extensions can only be used in the renaming creator and cannot be used in the name filters.
Try this in the name filter:
(.*)(\d{2}[^\.]\d{2}[^\.]\d{2}).*
Hope that helps.
